I just advertised my blog.. am I scared or excited?

I just sent an email to a very few of my friends announcing that I have a blog. Too funny. I'm actually nervous scared. They'll probably read my email, laugh, check out the blog, laugh again when they read this post, then never look at it again. Mission accomplished.. They know they are in my thoughts and that their opinions affect me in some way.
