Keeping a Blog is not as easy as it sounds.

OK. I just realized it's been 7 days since I wrote anything here. I guess it's like keeping a daily diary. There are bound to be blank pages, unless you write everything you do, which I won't. Ok, so, an update on stuff. Last weekend was wicked. We went to Nelson's sister's house for an awesome Halloween Party. The Jason after party was even more fun and a great laugh. We got home to a football game that doesn't even deserve an adjective. I mean, parts were awesome, and parts were downright embarrassing.

Update on work: Things suck here. The company is falling apart from the inside. Rob is out for three days and no one is doing anything. All I hear to my left is complaining, Gina is frustrated and Pedro puffs out his little chest like a rooster watching over his little hen house. It's disgusting, really. I really hit a brick wall at about 4:30 when my day is almost done. The last half hour drips by like molasses. I just want to shoot myself. Oh, and let's not forget... Robin quit just making it a peach of a week so far.

Hopefully things can get better. I really hope so.

Bored Silly

Can't wait for the end of the week. We leave for Atlanta on Thursday afternoon for what is sure to be a very fun weekend. Anna is driving up from Coral Springs and Ily & PJ are flying up on Friday to round out a very full very crazy Russo Halloween Manor.

I'm also excited because it will be a change of pace. I'm kinda bored these days. Work and Dieting sucks. I look forward to not having to do one or the other. I know I'll have to be careful on the feeding front, but at least I'll have a couple of days off.

OK, Back to ick work.

Last Post was 4 days ago.. figured I'd check in

Monel Promotion Done? Check! Monel Valentine Pre-book done? Check! Screens installed? Check! Walls painted? Check! I love productive weekends!

After a not so great Friday which consisted of lotsa drinking and eating the way wrong foods, I was back on track by Sunday. We rode bike for a while and then did a few changes (upgrades) to our sanctuary.

My TV programs are over and I'm just finally caught up with some reading and writing and web surfing and feel like settling in for a good night's sleep.

Should be a pretty cool week. We leave for Atlanta on Thursday. Still have to figure out what we are doing with our costumes. A nun and priest sound boring. Looking for some way to spook them up.

That is the next project.

Wow, Muphy's law today...

Hello,
I swear I spent most of my day correcting typos. I was not myself. My computer was running crappy and my fingers were running way faster than my brain was. Hopefully my computer will get squared away after the Memory upgrade gets installed next week. (BTW, I have had to backspace 6 times on these few lines of text.. crazy)

I'm headed home, just wanted a chance to look in and tell you how my day went.. CRAPPY!
That's all for now...

Mental floss - What a great name for a blog

Just found this new blog called Mental Floss. What a great name. It is one of the best POP culture blogs I have read in a really long time. They send out these newsletters that have a bunch of useless knowledge and are fun to read. You should check it out.

Life has been copacetic. Recovering nicely from the doctor thing. Work is plugging along although some people are having a rougher go of it than others. Sales are stagnant and something needs to boost us along.

I know I havent written in a while, but things have just been regular and I dont want to bore you with the mundane...

I started Weight Watchers Online. I'm 6 pounds down from my start weight, but I have a feeling I had a faulty start weight (after lunch or something), but hey, 6 lbs is something, right?

Lately I have been scheduling sushi girl "dates" with my friends so I can catch up on the goings on with the crew. Tuesdays and Thursdays ahve been pretty OK with that, since Nelson raids online with his group. Eventually, I'll go back to WOW. I just haven't been feeling it. Something will bring me around. Maybe the new expansion, maybe the old raids.. something.

Out for now.

Sometimes you get what you want in life.

When I got home from work feeling a bit sick, I was determined to have a lazy weekend to recharge my body for the week to come. I have a minor surgery on Tuesday and I was determined to go through with it, flu or not! I cant put off the necessities in life.

Friday night, we watched movies and cuddled under the covers with no immediate plans to wake up the next morning. Saturday came and we stayed in, as promised. The only outing was to visit my Mom for 15 minutes and shop for groceries. After that, we cam back home and did what I had set in my mind to do... nothing. It felt great!

Sunday, was a little more complicated. The NFL complicates everything. Charlie, April, Mich and Nick came over and we did football stuff plus played Rock Band and drank some. Still veging and still at home, so I feel the mission was accomplished for the weekend.

Do I feel recharged? Never! But I'm a little more relaxed than the evils that was last week. Next goal: Lottery.. LOL

Catching up with Real Life

Hello world.

I know it's been a while. Vacations, vacations, work work and Fall TV has begun... this is going to be a good "rest of the year"(I hope).

Nelson and I had a "magical" Disney getaway for our birthdays. 5 days-4 nights at Coronado Springs. A visit to all the parks, free entrance on our birthdays, a Universal-Islands diversion with Mich and Mike, which had its ups and downs (don't all roller coasters? LOL) and a great night at Howl at the Moon. Overall.. fabulous.

Pictures to be posted soon.

Nelson's grandfather spent a few days in the hospital, so a watchful ear and daily conversations kept us in the loop while we were away. Seems like the worst has passed for now. He's back at home today and resting through it. It's tough watching the old birds lose their flight power. I was telling him on the trip home that he and I have a few rough years ahead and that we really have to be there for each other and our families. I know that it's a part of life, but it never gets easier.

Back to work today. Had over 180 emails that needed my attention. Rob and Gina are out for the next 2 days so peace and catch up are the order of the days. Have much to do.

Last but not least... Fall TV is back! This week has most of the premieres and I think I am going to drive Nelson crazy with my TV choices. There are a few shows that we will both watch, but the DVR will have tons of my stuff and I hope that's OK. I just watched Eastwick and Cougartown and they've piqued my interest, but not a whole lot just yet... one more episode will tell the tale. Glee is a winner (which Nelson watches with me), of course, Heroes, Gray's Anatomy, Desp HW, Bro & Sis, CSI and the list goes on.. I've even taken CSI Miami back on for a bit. Eddie Cibrian is now on the show. I like him.

Oh well, just wanted to touch base for a bit. I'll try to be more consistent. I was good at the beginning of the month but the vacations and wandering thoughts took over. Bye for now.
